For far too long, transit service has been neglected in Scarborough. Bus routes have continued to decline through service cuts, and our Scarborough RT is out of commission – for good.
As your next City Councillor, I will be a champion for safer, faster, and better public transit.
- Safer: Increase frontline staff; Add lighting at transit stops; Install safe pedestrian crossings near bus stops
- Faster: Build off-road SRT replacement busway to get shuttle buses out of traffic; 10 minute bus network on major routes
- Better: Integrate fares across TTC, GO Transit, and Bike Share Toronto; Expand overnight bus service; Improve station accessibility

The WSRP would be a trail that crosses all of Scarborough Southwest, connecting from Victoria Park station to Kennedy station.
It would allow residents to get outside into nature for fresh air and exercise, and connect people to 3 subway stations! We could have community gardens, pollinators, and public parks while also connecting the existing Don River trail network to the Meadoway & Scarborough Zoo.

I’m committed to working with all school councils and administrations to develop Safe School Travel Plans for every school in Scarborough Southwest, and to ensuring there’s a speed camera at every school.

We can tackle the climate crisis by building affordable housing options, giving people transport options, and helping locals get good-paying green jobs. Let's invest in our people, our city, and our future.
